About Artist:

I have lived in the Berkshires MA for the last 43 years. During that time I taught first grade in Housatonic, MA. I married, had a child, and helped my husband clear land and build a house. We had a small farm with cows, geese, chickens, & goats. I also volunteered teaching art at Fairview Common, and worked at S.B.L.N as a volunteer helping immigrants become U.S. Citizens. I studied at Berkshire Community College to become a P.T.A. I have also worked as a gardener, tennis instructor, and caregiver. I am now beginning to work on my writing again.

In my first year Emerson College I wrote poetry and short stories. I had 2 poems published. I am very inspired to now work on a writing project which will entail my research and creative perseverance.

I run an AirBnB entitled Lily Pads Landing. It is wonderful to meet travelers from all over and often I sell my art to these travelers as my home is also a gallery.

My beliefs are quite simple as I am open to the infinite energies of the universe, and know in my heart the finite needs the infinite. Therefore perpetual change and direct messages are the mystery which guide our lives. Sometimes, more often than not my art feels like it is channeled through me, especially my abstract art. And yes, that is an abstract concept, however, spirituality has no definition, or scientific explanations.

Thank you for viewing my art and checking out my mini-bio.
